My Latest Digital Art Work (Mighty Cat Rides Again)

I like to do some fun digital images using my avatar. Is it self indulgent? I think so, but it has been a lot of fun. I have a small collection of these now mostly about current online events. Here are a few of them. I need to work on more effects and stuff but these were really good practice. I hope you like them.

Have you ever felt like you were surrounded by trolls? In this image of Mighty Cat, I decided to explore what that would look like. The Troll holding up a stone that says, "Rules," is looking back on this, a sign of issues that will cause trouble later on.

Mighty Cat goes off in the greenhouse with a flamethrower, frying the spammers and advertisers. You should try it sometime. It can be quite therapeutic.

Mighty Cat didn't have the best week and this image was a visual representation of a feeling, but I am envious of that nice weather. The fall weather here is crashing waves and high winds.

Very creative jj.

I remember the great gang colapse to clean out the greehouse that was so productive, and rallied so many to the cause.

Rule demons abound, and are such a drag, man.

Sometimes you're better off in liferaft, than tied to the dock.

Me too, but as of right now there are 277 pages of spammer-advertisers in the Greenhouse. This AM there were 284. We need to get Mighty Cat w/the flamethrower fired up again.

JJ------- Great article, l just applied for membership to the group. l saw the one you helped Dowser out with, and that was great too.

Very creative, imaginative, talented and oh-so-very clever. You ought to be right proud of yourself. Love Dowser's stuff too. Tucker has been taking naps so he can run out the door when I open it and try to get to the yard kitties. He's so silly. I'd let him play but I don't want him to get in harms way as the road is a racetrack and he doesn't know the territory.

When I was living in Portland Oregon we had a mighty wind and the next morning I opened the garage door to head for work and the leaves were piled up to my waist. I was trying to move them when my neighbor came out and took mercy upon me and helped. It seemed the leaves were blown westward and would get caught in a swirl right in from on my garage which was on an incline. It was funny but not that funny!

Yuck on the garage door leaf pile!, at least you got some help.

Well, I get wind from all sides, Western KY, south, north, west mostly and my neighbors benefit, I get their leaves too. :) not that any offer to help rake. Though I did by accident find out that a house broom works a lot better. You don't have to take the leaves off the tines of a rake every five minutes. :)

Ugh. IF we suck them up and mulch them all, we get over 50 bags, every year... Of late, we've been using a mulch mower and leaving the 'chips' on the ground. Of course, we have mostly weeds, not grass, but it sure helps the old back...

I used to love to rake leaves, but this house defeats me at every turn.

mstanley, the broom works great, you are so right. I don't know why the leaves liked me the best. Maybe they knew I'd bag them up for recycling and not just push them back out in the street. Some residents make 5-6 foot piles on the side of the street. That's great for those needing to park, or when a gully wash comes through.

the local street dept comes around once in awhile and sucks the leaves up if we leave them in piles. But heck the wind just blows them down the street. And with the Fire Watch, doesn't take much for a pile of leaves to go up and everything else. sighhh..

glad you liked the broom deal...:)

We have fire danger here due to the winds. We've had a couple of fires down below the road. I'm sure they were from the "butt tossers". I never understand how people think they can throw something out of their window that's burning and expect it to put itself out.

Ah, JJ, your contributions are fantastic. What creativity. Your kitty always cracks me up. I started with 7 orange tabbies and gained at least three more. Some are smooth tailed and some have fluffy tails, all are adorable. All in all my 10 orange tabbies, three calicos, one big black female, two dark tabbies from the neighbor's house (they like to hang with the yard cats), a spotted tabby, a mottled grey and white cat and a black baby kitten are my kitties to feed at the JS Grill. I hope to get some shots I can do some silliness with. Thanks for yours.

Love you too, Dowser! My kitties make me so happy. I'm going to begin sitting with them in the afternoon while they feed. They need to get used to me a bit more as I have to capture that baby one before it wants to have babies. I'll fly it over as soon as I tame it, Dowser! This is the cutest little buddy and to watch it play among all those cats is a hoot. It talks a lot and plays with everything. It will look up at the fence or the papaya tree and want to climb. That happy tail kills me as I know the kitten is feeling comfortable. Even when it runs away from me now it isn't all that serious. I think it believes this is what it is supposed to do because all the big guys do it.

There are some gecko casualties, this I know as I have seen little tails hanging from a kitty's mouth now and then. However, they seem to reproduce like rabbits, only from eggs, so I think losing one or two is a small price to pay for having 15-20 cats milling around looking cute.
